Third Expert Meeting
After summer all forensic experts of the JIT countries will get together to analyse and interpret the results of their joint investigation. The conclusions which can be drawn from this will contribute to the evidence. The Dutch forensic investigation will organise this third ‘expert meeting’.
Prosecution
National and international partners are working together on the legal preparations of the different prosecution options: additional legislation is in the pipeline. The decision on the location and manner in which the prosecution can best take place, will be taken by the JIT countries jointly. This matter will be further discussed on international level.
About the JIT
In the JIT, police and judicial authorities of Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, Ukraine and the Netherlands work together in the investigation.
